SONG of THE EARTH ©
The love that you share is the song that you sing,
The joy in my heart is the gift I bring.
When music resounds, I can be anything,
My heart is as free as a bird on the wing.
The mountains and oceans give me a base
To anchor myself in this infinite space.
I draw my life's force from the depths of the Earth
And the energy flows that can give my love birth.
The flowers and trees with their roots in the ground,
Draw their life and their light from the love that I've
found.
The warmth of the soil and the breadth of the sky
Let me hold on to Earth while my heart learns to fly.
The song of the birds is a magical sound,
It ties me to life in the space all around.
I know there is love in their glorious flight,
And the freedom to soar keeps my spirit bright.
The love in my heart and the joy in my soul
Allow me to know that my spirit is whole.
In the breath of the wind I can hear the Earth's song,
And my mind finds a peace that is quiet and strong.
